Here’s part 2 of the video series “How To Create And Host Your Own Web Videos”.

In this video, you’ll learn how to use CamStudio (which is free) to record the movements on your screen.

As I mentioned, you will need a USB microphone to get decent sound quality. If the video is average, the visitors may stick around. If the audio is poor, they’ll leave.

So get a USB microphone if you can.

A little disclaimer here. I’m not an expert on making videos. I just know how to do them. If I want to create professional looking ones, I’ll get it outsourced.

I just thought it would be useful to share the information of what I know for those of you who like to do everything by yourself. But with practice, I think it’s possible to create decent web videos and promote your websites.

Enjoy.

How To Create And Host Your Own Web Videos

You need web videos for your sales page to capture your visitors’ attention, and making them take the action you want. Whether it’s to purchase a product or sign up to their newsletter.

I started to create web videos about a month ago for this blog. It took me bloody ages figuring out how to do it. One of the reasons is because there are is much information out there and everyone has different views.

Well if you like the videos I created for this blog and on my page at http://www.eliteghostwriters.com/report.html then check out the video series on how I did it.

This is the cheapest solution I’ve come across. I could have done it the easy way by hosting it on a Viddler business account for $99 a month or on Brightcove which charges considerably more including a set up fee. But that’s too expensive in the long run.

What I was looking for is a place to host a lot of my short videos, allowed me to play them on my website with no advertisement and enables visitors to watch them at a comfortable speed.

My solution is create video —> host on S3 Amazon —> display on website with free flash player —> Cloudfront

The actual set up is very easy after you’ve done it once. If you’re just starting out with no experience in creating web videos, it’s a bloody nightmare.

Watch this 7 part video tutorials where I explain everything in detail. It’ll save you weeks of research.

Today I found a copywriter with testimonials from more than happy customers, proof of high conversions and experience with writing for top internet marketers.

At them moment, he’s offering his copywriting services for a very cheap price. He normally charges $1,500 per sales letter which is still cheap for a top copywriter’s standards. But for the next 10 people, he is willing to write the exact high quality sales letter he writes normally, for only $200.

The offer is limited for the next 10 people only. He cannot afford to take on more clients because the task for writing a good sales letter is very labour intensive.

On average it takes at least 4 hours to do research for his client’s niche, 4 hours to write the sales letter and an additional 4 hours to fine tune the copy so that it easily converts visitors to buyers like a Transformer.

That’s 12 hours of hard work at least, to write a good sales letter. And that’s doing it quick.

The copywriter is well respected in his field and has experience writing in a lot of different niches. With his sales letter, he expects to at least double your existing conversion rate.

You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars hiring a copywriter for your information product anymore. This copywriter can help you achieve the same results at one tenth of the price.

But you have to act now, before all the places are filled up.

STOP!!!!!

If you have read this far, tell me what you think of this copywriter.

He is damn cheap and affordable for most people. But what do you think of the quality of his sales letter? Will it really be the same quality as other  top copywriters?

If you know the name of this copywriter running this special offer, would you think he is doing well with his business?

In your mind, do you suspect that this guy is not as good as he says he is, and is desperate for money?

If he is desperate for money, why doesn’t he lower his price only slightly instead of slashing it to $200?

10 orders of $200 works out to be $2,000 with at least 120 hours of hard work. That’s around 17 man days.

My point is, this is what happens when you offer a service too cheap.

Prospects will have many unanswered questions in their heads such as what your real purpose is with this cheap service and most importantly, they will suspect that your quality will poor. Otherwise you would not charge such a price.

The price of your products and services affect your overall image a lot. The price reflects quality.

That is why Mercedes, BMWs and Ferraris are so expensive.

Sure you would get buyers for your service, but these buyers will rarely purchase from you again if you raised your prices.

On the otherhand, people who are willing to pay for top products and services would not consider doing business with you. To them, your business is in the cheap section. A business that doesn’t offer quality.

Do you agree with this? If not ask yourself, would you buy a new premium Volkswagen that’s the same price as a BMW? It has all the BMW features apart from the name.

If someone sold you a new Mercedes for $20,000, would you suspect there’s something wrong?

One thing you have to remember is that not everyone thinks like this. Lowering prices doesn’t necessarily make people think that the quality is low as well.

HOWEVER…a huge majority of people do think like this. This is why some business owners sell more when they raise their prices.

Shouldn’t you target your business to a bigger audience rather than pleasing the minority?

If you’re selling a product or service, or if you’re discounting a service to get some extra cash, spend a good time thinking about how much to charge and what kind of customers you want to attract.

Rather than lowering your price, you could add on bonuses to your offer. If you present your business charging cheap prices, you will attract the type of people who are willing to pay for low prices only.

It will be very hard to convince the crowd who are willing to pay extra for premium products and services, to do business with you.

Having said all of that, make sure you deliver what you charge.

Giving crap when people pay high prices is no different than stealing.

Article Marketing – What Is A Good Article?

Article marketing is like painting. Anyone can write an article but it takes practice and it’s an art that you develop. I receive a lot of article writing projects and I found that not every client has the same view on what is a good article.

Without reading further, ask yourself what do you expect if you paid for an article. What do you consider is a quality article?

Here is what some of my clients think.

1. A good article is one which has lots of information and is written with excellent English. No grammar or spelling mistakes and written like a novelist.

2. A good article describes the information with very good English and uses complex words which shows that the author is educated and knowledgeable.

3. The article has break-through information which has not been revealed anywhere.

No, no and no. These are not the most important things to have in your article. You must understand what your objective is for the articles first of all.

Here is my answer for what I think is a good article.

- attracts the reader’s attention from beginning to end

- makes them think they learned something useful from the article

- user will click on your link in the resource box

- gives the reader a good impression of you or your business

To achieve these 4 factors, the article must be:

- free of grammar and spelling mistakes otherwise you’ll leave a bad impression (basic requirements)

- article is written in an easy to understand language which your targeted readers understand and written in a conversational way so that it keeps the reader’s attention

- article has 3 or more tips which the reader can use and learn right away

- the content of the article will lead the reader to think that they need a certain product or service to solve their problem

- the solution to solve the reader’s problem is offered in the resource box

There are many other factors that make up a quality article such as using the right anchor text in the resource box and the right keyword density etc…

But if a ghostwriter gave you the above qualities with each of the articles they wrote, they’ve done their job.

The information products business is still unknown to a lot a business owners. This is amazing since there are many online entrepreneurs selling information products and are making a killing with it.

I’m talking about millions of dollars per year.

So this means that there is no better time than now to join this industry and stop slaving away with a 9 to 5 job that pays pittance and requires you to work over time.

In this video, I explain how anyone can start a business and what the components that they need. Too many people think that it just requires writing an ebook and a website whereas the actual work is quite a lot.

However, once you’ve done it once, the second information product that you create, will be a breeze. And it’s also where the main profits are at.

5 Places To Build A List

Building an email list is the primary task of any business. One of the biggest mistakes I made when I started my online business was neglecting my list building task.

For some stupid reason,  I thought that list building was not suitable for my business. Well I was wrong. Building a list is “a-must” for any business you’re in. If you disagree, tell me your example of a business by commenting below.

What a lot of people don’t understand is a lot of visitors don’t buy with their first visit to their website. They may like your product and prefer to shop around to find a better offer. After a while, they will forget about you.

If you have them on your email list, you can regularly send them useful information and keep reminding them that they can purchase aproducts or services from you.

You need to continuously remind your prospects that you exist and that they can buy from you when the time is right for them.

Here’s a video I made on 5 places you can build a list from for your online business. Don’t say they are obvious if you haven’t implemented them in your business.

Enjoy the video.

Here’s an article which I wrote a few weeks ago and is on the Ezine Articles as the one of the most viewed in the last 90 days.

You can check out the link here ==> Create A Profitable Business Using Ghostwriters

Below is the actual article I wrote.

How to Create a Profitable Business Using Ghostwriters
By Alan Cheng, Elite Ghostwriters

Create information products to solve people’s problems is one of the most profitable and easiest online business to be in. It’s much cheaper than setting up a traditional brick and mortar business. A digital information product doesn’t need you to keep an inventory and you profit the full 100% for every product you sell. Here’s a business plan of how to start this business.

1. What Information Products To Sell?

The best type of information products to sell is ebooks, where the content is delivered in a PDF format. However, instead of creating information products to sell in different niches, you need to focus on one niche. Make this decision on what niche you want to focus on before proceeding further.

For example, in the self-help niche, you can create information products on public speaking, self confidence, anxiety, anger control, build better relationships etc…

2. Getting Ideas

Since this is a business you’re running, you need to be serious. You need to study the niche and become an expert. Go to fourms and understand what problems people have. Read magazines and see what topics are related to your niche. Read newspapers and see what relates to your business.

If you do this, you will should have no problem coming up with ideas on what information products to create. Make a list of ideas regularly and choose the best one to start working on when it’s time to create a new information product.

3. Create The Information Product

Your next step is to create your information product. If you haven’t written an ebook before, go and buy an ebook from your competitors and see how they layout the ebook and the content that’s inside.

Do some research online and write your own information product. Make it something you’re proud to sell. Start off by writing your own information product first. You can hire a ghostwriter to do this task for you later on when you see how the business works.

Alternatively, hire a ghostwriter right away if you absolutely hate writing or you don’t have the time for it.

4. Packaging

This is what makes your information product sell. People will want to buy your product if the packaging is good. This means the design of the website needs to look professional and your sales copy needs to be convincing.

If you have no experience in writing sales copy and if you are not good at creating graphics, get them outsourced. This is a must!

As I said, it is the packaging that will make prospects buy from you. Some ghostwriters are experienced in creating information products online. Try to find one that will deliver a complete service including the sales letter and website design as well as ghostwriting the ebook.

5. Getting Traffic

Once your product is ready, it is time to drive traffic to it. Here are 3 ways how you can drive traffic to your website to test the response.

1. Write articles

Write about 10 good articles on your niche that is related to your information product. Again, if you don’t like writing, you can outsource this to your ghostwriter. Submit these articles to article directories and ezines.

The articles will get you backlinks to rank your website higher in the search engines and get visitor to your website. Articles are excellent in increasing your exposure.

2. Blog and Forum Commenting

Make a list of blogs and forums which have good traffic and are related to your niche. Take time to comment on them regularly with a link to your website.

Offer valuable advice and don’t advertise your information product otherwise people will think you’re a spammer. Just have a link to your website. This will enable you to “steal” some of the traffic from other websites.

3. Pay Per Click

Use pay per click advertising such as Google AdWords, Yahoo and MSN. Create some ads and drive traffic to your website. Monitor how well your information product sells.

6. Create an Affiliate Program

Create an affiliate program for your information product either by submitting it to Clickbank or use PayDotCom. Let people know they can promote your information product for commissions of 50% or more.

7. Collect Your Contacts

Always collect email addresses with everyone who comes in contact with you – Your visitors, your affiliates and your customers.

8. Repeat

Now you can just repeat the whole process with a new information product that focuses on the same niche.

However, once you’ve created the information product, you can email to the list which you have. The prospects and customers may buy this product from you if the previous one was good. Affiliates will want to promote your new product since they will earn more commissions.

The more information products you create, the bigger your 3 lists will get. After several information products you may have several thousand people on your list. Sending an email to them about your new product could produce thousands of dollars without doing any promotion of your own.

Following the business model above, if you sold an information product for $37 and 1,000 members of your list bought from you, that’s $37,000 in sales instantly. Don’t forget that your product will continue to sell as long as your website is there. The critical success factor is the professional ghostwriter you hired to create your information products.
